A retired couple hired an architect to revamp their old kitchen and living room into a contemporary open-plan kitchen and dining room with a lounge area.
They opened up the back with ceiling-to-floor windows and patio glass doors. This allows for lots of available light, which also looks out onto the patio and garden.
The extension exterior has an excellent timber and brick facade.
