Architectural photography of The Wexford Tourist Office, Ireland
The images reflect the simplicity of a square timber and glass box. It is a unique sculptural object that blends in well with a 35 m wide boardwalk, which runs parallel to the main retail core of the city on one side and the harbour on the other. The materials of the building are the same as those used on the boardwalk: plain concrete, galvanized steel, timber cladding and glass. One quadrant of the building is raised, allowing panoramic views of part of Wexford town, the river Slaney, and further on the Irish Sea.
