IMAGES OF THE BANNOW -BAGINBUN AREA IN CO WEXFORD.

Bag-and-Bun was named after two flag ships – Bag and Bun – the Anglo Norman Landing, “where Ireland was lost and won”.

The Martello Tower was built long after in the early 1800’s,39 in total were built around Ireland for the defense against a possible Napoleon invasion.
